Privacy Policy

Repair Ninja LLC ("we") runs repairninja.app. This page explains what we collect on this website, why, and what you can do about it. It's written to be read, not skimmed past. It covers the website only; the app itself will have its own policy when it launches.

What we collect

• Email address when you sign up for early access or the Build Log. Optional: your name and portfolio size if you fill them in.
• Backer details when you back the build. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe sends us your name, email, and what you backed.
• How you found us: the campaign or link you arrived from (UTM parameters and referrer), stored with your signup so we know which ads work.
• Basic technical data collected by our host, Netlify, in server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested). We don't run third-party ad trackers or sell any of it.

What we use it for

• Sending you the weekly Build Log and launch updates you asked for.
• Giving backers what they paid for: early access, backer updates, feature voting, and their name on the Backers Wall (first initial, last name, and city, unless you ask us not to).
• Understanding which ads and channels bring in landlords, so we spend money on the ones that work.

What we don't do

• We don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
• We don't send marketing on behalf of anyone else.
• We don't charge tenants or vendors, and we don't collect their information on this website.

Who else touches it

Netlify (hosting and form storage), Stripe (payments), and the email service we use to send the Build Log. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.

Your choices

• Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. Use it any time.
• Want your data corrected, exported, or deleted? Email hello@repairninja.app and we'll handle it within 30 days.
• Backers can ask to be left off the public Backers Wall at any time.

Cookies

This website doesn't set tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies during checkout to prevent fraud.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the Build Log and update the date at the top of this page.
